Mission Statement
The Mission of the Department of Fish and Game is to manage California's diverse fish, wildlife, and plant resources, and the habitats upon which they depend, for their ecological values and for their use and enjoyment by the public.

- Rotary Screw Trapping
- Juvenile habitat assessment
- Spawning Ground Surveys
- Video Weirs
- Coded Wire Tagging and recovery of adults at Iron Gate Hatchery
- Monitor juvenile and adult production from the Scott, Shasta and other key watersheds within Siskiyou County.

- Real Science implementation in rural schools with children from local community.
- Assist in the development of local arboretum.
- Develop public outreach kiosk at monitoring stations.
- Participate in multi-agency cooperative monitoring efforts.
- Habitat and riparian restoration projects on local watersheds.
