Program Development and Training (PDAT) Specialist

Final Filing date: Position open until filled
Under the leadership of the Assistant Director of AmeriCorps programs, the Program Development and Training Specialist has the responsibility to asses and address technical assistance/training needs of CaliforniaVolunteers’ AmeriCorps program grantees to increase program impact and quality of the AmeriCorps member service experience.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher - in related field
  • Extensive experience in training and curriculum development/assessment
  • Experience in research, analysis, program design, and evaluation
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to travel and work a somewhat irregular schedule (i.e., staying at work until the deadline is met)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time, particularly those that are high-profile and time-sensitive.
