Major Projects

Our major projects are numerous and varied, ranging from forest road upgrades or decommissioning, to fuels reduction, revegetation and restoration work, trail building, stewardship of the 13,000-acre Weaverville Community Forest, planning and conducting Weaverville Summer Conservation Day Camp, staffing Environmental Camp, organizing Day in the Wetlands, River Day at Coffee Creek, After-School Watershed Exploration & Monitoring Program, and CreekWatch, We also help put on the annual Salmon and Heritage Fruit Festival in Weaverville,

Examples of Work

Planning and coordinating activities and recruiting presentors for the month-long Summer Day Camp and Summer Field Camp, typically for up to 35 children per day from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
